Thompson unfairly tarnished, says protege

FORMER Olympic swimmer Jim Piper believes the leaking of confidential details of a complaint against head coach Alan Thompson and his decision to take personal leave, aired the same day as sexual abuse allegations against former coach Terry Buck, should be investigated immediately.
